Though a 13 July vote in the Senate has adjourned the transitional government, the head of Thailand's main intelligence agency, the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Thanakorn Buaras, is still keeping a watchful eye on the opposition's accession to power.  The spymaster, along with other heads of the country's institutions, is likely to pay the price.
