Revealed: US involvement in the elimination of Mexican cartel leader El Mencho

Washington led a secret large-scale technological operation to stage its deadly raid against Mexican drug lord El Mencho on 22 February. MQ-9 Reaper drones on SIGINT missions, USSOCOM operators, the CIA's Action Service unit and Palantir's analytical tools were all mobilised to mount an unprecedented cross-border manhunt.

Ukrainian drones in Transcarpathia (1/2) – Feeling the heat from Russian strikes, Ukraine has begun partially relocating its long-range drone production to the west of the country. With its private players, long-established manufacturers and proximity to the European Union, the Carpathian Mountains are becoming the new hub for Ukraine's drone industry.

Several Moscow-influenced champions of pan-Africanism are headed for the Nigerien capital on the occasion of a visit by South African politician Julius Malema. Activist Kemi Seba, who is subject to an international arrest warrant issued by Benin, is due to attend.
