Intelligence cooperation between France and the UK is clearly improving after taking a hit from Brexit, with close collaboration on several strategic issues.

Encouraged by the "drill-baby-drill" ethos issuing from Washington, the energy giant Saudi Aramco has begun taking a harder line against renewables technology in its public messaging. To drive that campaign, its speechwriting team includes former Dutch and British government aides.
