    A small company has become the go-to specialist for transporting heads of state and other VIPs around Paris. This key security and diplomatic role is fulfilled by a firm founded by the head of a Franco-Turkish employers' association that channels the influence of the presidency in Ankara.

    A delegation of around 60 French companies is expected to attend the World Defence Show in Riyadh from 8 to 12 February. France, which has honed in on the kingdom's naval industry, mainly through Naval Group, is not expecting to clinch many contracts this time round.
